Don't let Athina's family go through the cold months without gas
Athina is behind on gas bills after my partner leaving the household and needs $350 to avoid a shut-off.

The gas account is 3 months behind. Athina received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $350 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Athina called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $80 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a disabled brother, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Athina is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Water arrears: $145
• Reconnection and late fees: $85
• Down payment on a payment plan: $120

So sorry you're going through this, Christos. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Piraeus.
