Diya served twelve years; now needs help to get home
An engineering corps veteran in Thane needs help with a vocational welding course and tools after leaving service with a back injury.

I served twelve years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2024 with a back injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $600.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $600 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $210
• Transport to appointments: $90
• Training provider fees: $300
Every share and every dollar helps.

Shared this with my family. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings
Wishing you peace, Diya. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Bangkok
