Dignity in old age: caring for Yves
Yves can't afford the care He needs after a diagnosis of dementia; we're asking for $800.

I'm caring for my father, who's 82. After a diagnosis of dementia Yves can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Yves desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Yves worked all of his life as a carpenter, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $800 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $115
• Part-time carer (six months): $610
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $75
Thank you so much.
