I'm caring for my mother, who's 91. After the death of her spouse Carolina can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Carolina desperately wants to stay at home. I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer. Carolina worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $1,150 goes: • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $175 • Part-time carer (six months): $850 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $125 Every share and every dollar helps. - Marcelo
