Dignity in old age: caring for Agus
Agus can't afford the care He needs after a diagnosis of dementia; we're asking for $650.

I'm caring for me, who's 79. After a diagnosis of dementia Agus can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Agus desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Agus worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $650 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $510
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $75
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $65
If you're reading this, thank you.

Hang in there, Agus. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My neighbor in Butwal donated after I showed her your page.
Wishing you the best, Agus. Hope you get there. Love from Seoul.
