Dhanush's final semester of an electrical engineering diploma in Madurai
A first-generation student, Dhanush needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an electrical engineering diploma.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an electrical engineering diploma at Madurai University, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $350.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Madurai University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $350 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $40
• Final term tuition: $300
• Textbooks and materials: $10

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Dhanush.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. exam and lab fees is the biggest at $40. It helps to be asked.
Good luck, Dhanush. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
