Pass on a laptop: it could change Leila's year

A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Leila and a full online workload.

I'm Leila, a social work student in Marrakesh. My laptop broke 7 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind. I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Marrakesh. I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Good luck. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. All the best.

    • Wishing you the best, Leila. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from San Sebastián

      • Sending good thoughts. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings

        • Thinking of you and your family, Leila. Hope you get there. After 17 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

          • Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Marrakesh.

                • Hope it all works out, Leila. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Scranton donated after I showed her your page. Take care

                  • Stay strong, Leila. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did
