Dennis's stage 2 breast cancer treatment fund

Dennis was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in May. The oncology team at the Sheffield Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Dennis is 34, worked as a nurse until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Sheffield Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $6,300 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,150
• Scans and lab work: $1,300
• Household costs while unable to work: $850
