Delilah's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Help Delilah begin Form 4 with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇺🇸 California, United States443 views
I earned a place in Form 4 at Bakersfield International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $1,100, which is more than we have.
I love mathematics and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Laptop: $590
• School uniform and shoes: $135
• Textbooks and workbooks: $260
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $115
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Praying for you, Delilah. Study hard!
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Delilah.
Laptop is $590 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
good luck with the exams, you've got this. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
Sending good thoughts, Delilah. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best.

Rooting for you, Delilah. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless
