I'm caring for my father, who's 87. After worsening Parkinson's disease Daniel can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Daniel desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Daniel worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $5,350 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $3,950
• Medication and prescriptions: $700
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $240
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $460
Glad we found this place.

Hang in there, Manuel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did
Thinking of you, Manuel. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side.
Wishing you the best, Manuel. Get well soon. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Manuel. Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings
