Damien's stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment fund
Damien is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Damien was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in May. The oncology team at the Paris Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Damien is 34, worked as a bakery worker until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Paris Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,050
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $290
• Transport to the Paris Oncology Institute: $560
