Corinne needs a stair-climbing aid - help us make it happen
Help Corinne get a stair-climbing aid so She can get to the shops and visit friends.
🇫🇷 France912 views
Corinne lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Lyon Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,300.
Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Corinne could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $3,300 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $2,700
• Fitting and training sessions: $360
• Delivery and set-up: $100
• First-year servicing plan: $140
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
