Companionship wanted: Tadhg's knitting and a cup of tea

I'm writing for my neighbor Tadhg, who's 80. Tadhg lives alone in Dublin, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives 534 kilometers away. Tadhg loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
