Companionship wanted: Quinn's chess and a cup of tea

Quinn lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Quinn, who's 86. Quinn lives alone in Jacksonville, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives 763 kilometers away. Quinn loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
