Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Márcio
Márcio uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.
🇧🇷 São Paulo, Brazil1,098 views
Márcio has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Márcio can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Márcio's family will cook lunch for the team.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

wishing you the best, Carlos. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of São Paulo.
Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
