Companionship wanted: Maximilian's birdwatching and a cup of tea
Looking for a friendly person in Berlin to visit Maximilian once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Maximilian, who's 78. Maximilian lives alone in Berlin, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Maximilian loves birdwatching, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
