San Antonio
I'm writing for my neighbor Leonardo, who's 79. Leonardo lives alone in San Antonio, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Leonardo loves birdwatching, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • Take care. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Munich.

    • Take care, Nuria. Hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of San Antonio.

      • thinking of you and your family, Nuria. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like!
