I'm writing for my neighbor Kunal, who's 72. Kunal lives alone in Nashik, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives 598 kilometers away.
Kunal loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.

Hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Tiruchirappalli so I could bring a meal.
