I'm writing for my neighbor Irina, who's 91. Irina lives alone in Cluj-Napoca, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives 211 kilometers away. Irina loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
