Companionship wanted: Fleur's cricket and a cup of tea
Looking for a friendly person in Haarlem to visit Fleur once a week.
🇳🇱 2039 AV, Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands176 views
I'm writing for my neighbor Fleur, who's 91. Fleur lives alone in Haarlem, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Fleur loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thank you so much.

Keep going, Lotte. Shared it with a few friends. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best
