Companionship wanted: Crystal's local history and a cup of tea
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Crystal is asking for.
🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom782 views
I'm writing for my neighbor Crystal, who's 75. Crystal lives alone in Birmingham, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives 777 kilometers away.
Crystal loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Best of luck. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My husband and I read this together.
Stay strong, Ethan. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Kingston donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
you're not alone. Hope the doctors have good news. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Birmingham.
Wishing you peace. Wishing Crystal a smooth procedure and a full recovery. All the best
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Pune.
