Cedar Park needs a youth football pitch - Rajesh's neighborhood project

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Park, but no funding. We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $210, and the remaining cost is $700. It will serve about 172 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $700 goes: • Materials: $510 • Permits and inspections: $65 • Safety equipment and signage: $50 • Tools hire and delivery: $75 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
