Carmela's stomach cancer treatment fund
Carmela is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Carmela was diagnosed with stomach cancer in April. The oncology team at Quezon City University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Carmela is 58, worked as a tailor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Quezon City University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
