Umar is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at the Kediri Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950.
The registrar has said Umar can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Umar has a 3.6 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Umar would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Umar isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $950 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $470
• Final term tuition: $450
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Textbooks and materials: $15
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

best of luck. This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Shared it with a few friends. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Hialeah!
Keep going. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Sent it to 19 people at work. Blessings.
