Carmela needs a commercial oven to reopen a neighborhood bakery
Carmela has run a neighborhood bakery for six years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $400 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Manila. In September, a long illness and repossession took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $80
• Shop repairs and licensing: $120
• Replacing a commercial oven: $200
Thanks for being kind about this.

This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Rajshahi
Sending strength, Carmela. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update.
