Care for Nnamdi, 88: help cover a carer and medication in Badagry
Nnamdi can't afford the care He needs after a stroke last January; we're asking for $400.

I'm caring for my father, who's 88. After a stroke last January Nnamdi can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Nnamdi desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Nnamdi worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $400 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $250
• Medication and prescriptions: $55
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $55
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Keep going, Zainab. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from São Paulo.
get well soon. Greetings from Porto Alegre.
Wishing you the best. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best.
