Start-up fund for Jumoke: reopening a phone repair counter after floodwater
Jumoke lost a soldering station and testing tools to floodwater and needs $700 to reopen a phone repair counter and support the family.

For six years I have run a phone repair counter in Ikeja. In April, floodwater took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $470
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $125
• Shop repairs and licensing: $55
• Working capital for the first month: $50

Hope it all works out, Jumoke. Small businesses are the heart of Ikeja. Hope you're open again soon. Take care.
Good luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 34 people at work.
