I'm caring for my father, who's 75. After a stroke last November Naufal can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Naufal desperately wants to stay at home. I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Naufal worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $1,100 goes: • Part-time carer (four months): $850 • Medication and prescriptions: $90 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $65 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $95 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Ani
