Care for Michelle, 88: help cover a carer and medication in San Jose
Michelle, 88, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $5,750 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 88. After the death of her spouse Michelle can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Michelle desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Michelle worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $5,750 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $4,500
• Medication and prescriptions: $320
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $430
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $500
Glad we found this place.
