Care for Lourdes, 78: help cover a carer and medication in Tlaquepaque
Lourdes can't afford the care She needs after a diagnosis of dementia; we're asking for $1,050.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 78. After a diagnosis of dementia Lourdes can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Lourdes desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Lourdes worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $65
• Part-time carer (three months): $880
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $105
With deep gratitude,
Emiliano

Thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Manchester.
