I'm caring for my mother, who's 74. After the death of her spouse Ines can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Ines desperately wants to stay at home. I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer. Ines worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $750 goes: • Part-time carer (six months): $590 • Medication and prescriptions: $65 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $65 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $30 Glad we found this place.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 1% now ($10). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the care agency and confirmed the amounts.
