I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After a stroke last August Huy can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Huy desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Huy worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $650 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $460
• Medication and prescriptions: $75
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $45
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $70

Sure. The biggest one is part-time carer (six months), $460. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
