Care for Hussain, 89: help cover a carer and medication in Hyderabad
Hussain, 89, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $450 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 89. After worsening Parkinson's disease Hussain can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Hussain desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Hussain worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $450 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $75
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $25
• Part-time carer (eight months): $350
