Care for Dhanush, 76: help cover a carer and medication in Kanpur
Dhanush can't afford the care He needs after a diagnosis of dementia; we're asking for $600.

I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After a diagnosis of dementia Dhanush can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Dhanush desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Dhanush worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $600 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $340
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $105
• Medication and prescriptions: $155
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Dhanush
Part-time carer (four months) is $340 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks, that means a lot.
Wishing Dhanush a smooth procedure and a full recovery.
Sending good thoughts. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
