Standing with Jumoke: a rare sarcoma treatment costs
Supporting Jumoke through a rare sarcoma: medication, transport to Gwagwalada University Hospital, and living costs while She can't work.
🇳🇬 Nigeria969 views
Jumoke was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in July. The oncology team at Gwagwalada University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Jumoke is 37, worked as a bank teller until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Gwagwalada University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $400 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105
• Scans and lab work: $210
• Transport to Gwagwalada University Hospital: $85
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hope things get better soon, Jide. Wishing Jumoke a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Greetings from Södertälje
is there anything that isn't money that would help Jumoke?
Thank you. If you're in Gwagwalada I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks for looking so closely.
Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 4 people at work. Thinking of Gwagwalada.
So sorry you're going through this, Jide. Get well soon. Don't give up
Best of luck. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
I hope things turn around soon. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
