I'm caring for me, who's 82. After a fall and hip fracture Danielle can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Danielle desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Danielle worked all of her life as a seamstress, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.

Hope it all works out. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Newcastle upon Tyne.
