Brett needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Brett has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Bloemfontein Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Brett can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 32 km each way.
Brett is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

you're not alone, Devi. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Bloemfontein
Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Bloemfontein.
A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Free State. I'll ask around and let you know!
sending strength. Hope you get there. My husband and I read this together.
Thinking of you, Devi. Shared it with a few friends. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
