After six years of service, Bola is raising funds for a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served six years in the medical corps and was discharged in 2024 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $650.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $650 goes:
• Training provider fees: $370
• Housing deposit and first month: $160
• Transport to appointments: $55
• Essential household items: $65
Glad we found this place.

Hang in there, Bola. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless!
Sending good thoughts, Bola. Your post was clear and honest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Epe.
Sending love. Hope you get there. Sent it to 3 people at work. Blessings.
Keep going, Bola. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Praying for you, Bola. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this, Bola. Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
