Bagus needs a pair of hearing aids - help us make it happen
Help Bagus get a pair of hearing aids so He can go to school independently.
🇮🇩 DKI Jakarta, Indonesia586 views
Bagus lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Jakarta Selatan Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $150.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Bagus could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $150 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $60
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• Fitting and training sessions: $60
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Eugene so I could bring a meal. God bless.
Sending strength, Indah. Looking forward to the next update
Praying for you. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Jakarta Selatan.
Best of luck. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
keep going, Indah. This could happen to any of us. All the best
