Back to business - María's comeback in San Nicolás de los Garza
María has run a phone repair counter for three years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $500 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a phone repair counter in San Nicolás de los Garza. In August, floodwater took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $135
• Shop repairs and licensing: $125
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $240
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Updates from María
Thank you all. We're at 38% now ($189). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.
Small update. $94 so far, I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing.
