Back to business - Hugo's comeback in Södertälje
A bicycle repair shop in Södertälje needs help replacing a full set of tools after a break-in.
🇸🇪 Södertälje, Stockholm, Sweden2,270 views
For six years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Södertälje. In April, a break-in took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,800 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $2,800
• Initial stock: spare parts: $600
• Shop repairs and licensing: $400
With deep gratitude,
Hugo

You're not alone, Hugo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
Thinking of you and your family. Your post was clear and honest. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
praying for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Sheffield.
