Back to business - Francis's comeback in Quezon City
Francis has run a laundry service for four years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $550 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a laundry service in Quezon City. In November, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $330
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $125
• Shop repairs and licensing: $55
• Working capital for the first month: $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
