Back to business - Filippo's comeback in Verona
Filippo has run a tailoring shop for twelve years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $2,450 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a tailoring shop in Verona. In September, a storm that collapsed the roof took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $280
• Shop repairs and licensing: $380
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $1,790
Thank you for reading my story.

This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Verona
Best of luck, Filippo. I hope things turn around soon. Blessings.
Thinking of you, Filippo. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Stay strong. Shared this with my family. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings
