Back to business - Emilio's comeback in Louisville

Emilio has run a tailoring shop for twelve years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $3,750 will put it back on its feet.

Louisville
For twelve years I have run a tailoring shop in Louisville. In August, the demolition of the market took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $3,750 goes: • Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $2,850 • Initial stock: fabric and thread: $430 • Shop repairs and licensing: $200 • Working capital for the first month: $270 I hope life is good to you.

You're not alone, Emilio. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Hobart donated after I showed her your page.
