Friendly visitor needed for a 76-year-old neighbor in Phoenix
Aaron lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Aaron, who's 76. Aaron lives alone in Phoenix, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives 444 kilometers away.
Aaron loves birdwatching, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Wishing you peace, Janet. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Rotterdam donated after I showed her your page.
Thinking of you and your family, Janet. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Wishing you peace, Janet. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Quezon City so I could bring a meal. Love from Mukono.
Hope things get better soon, Janet. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Wishing you the best. Shared this with my family. After 10 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
