Back to business - Emilia's comeback in Syracuse
A fish stall in Syracuse needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For fifteen years I have run a fish stall in Syracuse. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $1,150
• Initial stock: the first catch: $550
• Shop repairs and licensing: $680
• Working capital for the first month: $420
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
