Asher's stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment fund

Asher was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in January. The oncology team at Joliet Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Asher is 53, worked as a bakery worker until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Joliet Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $4,700 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,000
• Transport to Joliet Regional Medical Center: $1,000
• Scans and lab work: $1,300
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $400
