Artur needs a gas stove and two refrigerators to reopen a street-food cart

Artur has run a street-food cart for three years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $1,450 will put it back on its feet.

Radom
For three years I have run a street-food cart in Radom. In July, a long illness and repossession took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $1,450 goes: • Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $630 • Initial stock: ingredients: $210 • Shop repairs and licensing: $320 • Working capital for the first month: $290 Thanks for being kind about this. - Artur

Updates from Artur

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($1,066 in total) we've started the first stage. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 58% funded and I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 21% now ($310). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
