I make my living with my delivery van. 6 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $155
• Labor charges: $20
• Towing and inspection: $25
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Rooting for you, Anika. Shared it with a few friends. After 6 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
