Anand's final semester of a law degree in Tiruchirappalli
Anand has worked and saved for five years to study a law degree; a $950 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Anand is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at Tiruchirappalli State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950.
The registrar has said Anand can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Anand has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Anand would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Anand isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $950 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $370
• Final term tuition: $470
• Exam and lab fees: $45
• Textbooks and materials: $65
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
